The Patriots defeated the Steelers 27-16 during Week 7 of the regular season. Brady threw two touchdown passes and running back LeGarrette Blount ran for 127 yards and a touchdown in the game.
The Steelers outlasted Kansas City in the divisional playoff game and look to gain a measure of revenge against the Patriots. The Steelers lost to the Patriots in Week 7, but quarterback Ben Roethlisberger did not play in the game while recovering from a knee injury. The Steelers have lost to the Patriots in three of the four playoff games between the two teams.
